Indocement spent IDR 2.73 trillion for buyback

JAKARTA – PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) has realised IDR 2.73 trillion for its shares buyback that took place from December 3, 2021, to December 6, 2022.

Oey Marcos, Corporate Secretary of Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, claimed that the company has purchased 250,158,300 shares for IDR 10.930 each, in average. “The percentage of repurchased shares reaches 6.80% of the total listed shared on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX),” he said in the press release quoted Tuesday (6/12).

Within the past year, Indocement has arranged four rounds of buyback. The most extensive budget realisation was incurred in the first round of buyback, hitting IDR 1.80 trillion mark. Then, the second round of buyback, from March 7 to June 6, 2022, follows behind with IDR 469.62 billion, while the third term from June 7 to September 6, 2022, used up IDR 433.24 billion. Lastly, the most recent buyback from September 7 to December 6, 2022, has spent IDR 28.97 billion. (LK/ZH)
