WTR divested its portion in JSB for IDR 3.83 trillion

JAKARTA – PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) sold its entire portion in PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB) to Kings Bless Limited worth IDR 3.83 trillion.

Novianto Ari Nugroho, SVP Corporate Secretary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), a parent company of WTR, confirmed that the shares transfer in JSB occurred earlier this week (5/12).  “WTR is now no longer a shareholder of JSB,” he reaffirmed, quoted today (7/12).

According to Nugroho, the shares of WTR in JSB that have been transferred originate from a buyback. They clock up to 1,662,045,760 shares or approximately 39.77% of total shares.

Approximately 826,312,880 units of shares were reacquired by WTR from Reksa Dana Penyertaan Terbatas (RDPT) SAM Jalan Tol, or equivalent to 19.77% of the shares worth IDR 1.81 trillion. Then, 835,732,880 units of shares were repurchased from PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI), or equal to 20% of total shares worth IDR 1.81 trillion.

Prior to this transaction, JSB’s shareholders consisted of WTR of 39.77% worth IDR 1.66 trillion, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll of 44.18% worth IDR 1.84 trillion, and PT Lintas Marga Jawa of 16.05% worth IDR 670.50 billion. (LK/ZH)
