JAKARTA – PT Wika Gedung Tbk (WEGE) is optimistic that its revenue will grow approximately 10% to 20% in 2023. The main drive that will help to realise this target is the projects in the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) and contracts from state-owned enteprises (BUMN).
Quoting the public expose treatise on Wednesday (14/12), Purba Yudha Tama, Corporate Secretary of WEGE, claimed that although the company’s revenue shrank in Q3 2022, WEGE is still confident of being able to secure new contracts and boost its revenue in 2023.
According to Tama, the weakened revenue in Q3 2022 was a result of cautionary moves taken by the owners of apartment and office towers to sustain their cash flow. Therefore, WEGE will align the financing of several projects with the condition of their owners.
In Q3 2022, WEGE managed to score IDR 1.67 trillion of revenue, decreasing from IDR 2.44 trillion in 2021. Its current year’s profit in Q3 2022 was also contracted to IDR 92.76 billion from IDR 151.48 billion in 2021. (LK/ZH)
