JAKARTA – PT Putra Mandiri Jembar Tbk (PMJS), a parent company of Dipo Group, targets a minimum of IDR 292 billion of net profit in 2023. It is considered a steady target considering this year’s net profit realisation target of IDR 292.5 billion.

Ie Putra, Vice President Director of Putra Mandiri Jembar, claimed that next year’s business prospect is estimated to decline following an inflation and increased interest rates in banks.  “However, the company is optimistic that it can keep itself afloat with the support of sole trademark license holder in sales,” he explained in the public expose treatise quoted Friday (16/12).

According to Putra, next year, there will be improvement in vehicle procurement from ATPM, which will help in meeting consumers’ demands. Furthermore, the prices of coals and crude palm oil (CPO) are expected to steadily rise, just like this year.

In 2022, the vehicle supply from ATPM for Dipo Group is seen decreasing, whereas the demands for these vehicles soared. It shows especially in the plantation and mining areas in Medan, Pekanbaru, Jambi, and Kalimantan, as the coals and CPO prices reported an upturn.

The company sets the target for new vehicle sales to 32,963 units. Until September 2022, the profit clocked up to IDR 249.3 billion, equivalent to 85% of this year’s total target. (LK/ZH)
