JAKARTA. PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) will reinforce its partnership with Mitsui OSK Line (MOL) Japan as one of the strategies to realise sustainable growth.

Tirta Hidayat, President Director of HUMI, claimed that in order to align itself with the government’s plan, the company aims to develop the energy sector in the future. HUMI also carefully studies and reviews opportunities in the maritime sector that could be utilised for business growth.

According to Hidayat, his company will also enhance the collaboration with several renowned logistic companies. “Mitsui OSK Line (MOL) Japan has been our collaborative partner for over 30 years,” he added in the official release earlier today (3/1).

On top of meeting the ever-increasing demand from the market, HUMI’s short-term strategies also include focusing on technology utilisation to improve digitalisation, as mentioned by Dedi Hudayana, Director of HUMI. At the first stage, HUMI, through its subsidiary, PT MCS Internasional (MCSI), will initiate digitalisation for the recruitment of ship crews. (AM/ZH)
