JAKARTA – PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk (NPGF) plans to commence the initial operation of a fertiliser factory in Panceng, Gresik in the first quarter of 2023. As of now, the progress of said facility construction has reached 71.11%.

Uus Sudianto, President Director of Nusa Palapa Gemilang, claimed that the construction of this fertiliser production plant involves CV Mulyo Tani Makmur, PT Prima Mulia Abadi, and PT Hanampi Sejahtera Kahuripan. The facility was constructed using a contract manufacturing scheme (maklon service), which means that the factory will manufacture the products according to the demands of the company as the brand holder.

The factory is projected to produce many types of fertilisers, including NPK briquette, micro briquette, and NPK flakes. These fertilisers will replace non-granulated NPK fertilisers.

The money to build this factory originates from divestment of assets and land in Sidoarjo, East Java worth IDR 275 billion. (LK/ZH)
