JAKARTA. The number of bids included in the auction for State Sharia Securities (SBSN) or sovereign sukuk was recorded at IDR 28.55 trillion, exceeding the announced indicative target.

Last week, the Indonesian government, through the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance, conveyed an indicative target in the auction, namely IDR 14 trillion.

The PBS036 series received the highest interest from investors, with total incoming bids amounting to IDR 8.67 trillion. Then the incoming bids for the SPNS11072023 series were recorded at IDR 5.89 trillion, PBS003 IDR 4.94 trillion, PBSG001 IDR 4.19 trillion, PBS037 IDR 3.59 trillion, and PBS033 IDR 1.27 trillion.

Of all the incoming bids, the Government of Indonesia won a total nominal amount of IDR 14.51 trillion in the auction. Settlement or issuance after the auction is scheduled for January 26, 2023. (KR/LM)
