JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Gedung Gedung Tbk (WEGE) has pocketed a new contract worth IDR 745 billion in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan.

Hadian Pramudita, Main Director of WEGE, said that the contract includes a building project and office area for the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves). The office building, said Pramudita, will have a height of 8 floors and carry the concept of smart & green building.

The land prepared for the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries building is 24,274 square meters in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser. In this contract the building construction process is scheduled for 660 working days.

For the record, WEGE has previously secured another project at IKN. One of them is the IKN Modular Construction Worker Housing (HPK) project. This project has reached 94%.

As of the third quarter of 2022, WEGE has posted revenue of IDR 1.67 trillion. Meanwhile, the company's net profit was recorded at IDR 92.76 billion. (KR/LM)
