JAKARTA – PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) will build a palm oil production plan in West Kalimantan with a capacity of 30 tons of fresh fruit bunches per hour.

Paulina Suryanti, Corporate Secretary of Dharma Satya Nusantara, aims to commence the operation of said factory in 2025. “The construction will begin in the second quarter of 2023,” she further revealed, as quoted today (30/1).

According to Suryanti, with this latest production plant underway, the company will manage 15 palm oil factories in total. The total production of those facilities will clock up to 705 tons per hour in 2025.

In 2022, the fresh fruit bunches production hit 2.2 million tons, shifting 14% year-on-year (yoy) higher from 2021. The crude palm oil (CPO) production also increased 17% yoy to 640 thousand tons. “The fresh fruit bunches production showed an increment. In 2023, we are confident it will improve even more,” Suryanti added.

In 2022, the sales volume of CPO also grew 17% yoy to 640 thousand tons. Lastly, its sales volume of palm kernel oil (PKO) soared 26% yoy to 39 thousand tons in 2022. (LK/ZH)
