JAKARTA - Foreign transaction volume fell to around 2 billion shares at the beginning of February's second week. Foreign purchases totaled 1.93 billion, while foreign sales totaled 2.01 billion. As a result, net foreign was down 85,612,400 shares on Monday, February 6. What foreign investors sold the most were PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares, totaling more than 720 million, bringing the net volume to -124.95 million shares. On the other hand, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares were the most in-demand, with foreigners purchasing 221.43 million shares, bringing the net volume to 141.82 million.

Furthermore, BUMI was followed by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), with 112.55 million shares purchased by international shareholders and a net volume of 53.29 million. Then, with a net volume of 43.76 million, 56.55 million shares of another bank, PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP), were also purchased. Furthermore, PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) and PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) reported a net volume of around 25 million shares after being purchased by foreign investors for 40.65 million ADRO shares and 31.09 million PNLF shares, respectively.

Foreign investors, on the other hand, are still selling shares of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA). This time, 117.61 million shares of GIAA were sold, resulting in a net volume of -115.50 million. Shares of PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) were also sold, as many as 52.92 million, with a very small purchase volume, resulting in a net volume of minus 51.47 million shares. Finally, 39.12 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) and 34.17 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) were removed from the foreign holdings as well. (KD)
