JAKARTA – The 20th MEGABUILD Indonesia and the 9th Keramika Indonesia exhibitions will be held in Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) in Senayan, Jakarta, from February 23-26, 2023. Both annual exhibitions will be combined, making it the biggest architecture, interior design, material, and construction exhibition in Indonesia.

After being postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, MEGABUILD and Keramika Indonesia will make its comeback, optimizing the momentum offered by the domestic economic recovery. “This exhibition is intended to introduce various exhibitors in related industries with professionals and other stakeholders,” Royanto Handaya, President Director of PT Pameran Masa Kini, the lead organiser of the exhibition, explained during the Press Conference of MEGABUILD and Keramika Indonesia in Jakarta today (16/2).

With Indonesia’s economic growth rate that reached 5.31% in 2022, Handaya wished that industries involved in this exhibition will continue to make progress in the future. “We hope that the construction industry will continue to grow up to 5.78%, propelled by the residential, industrial, and infrastructure segments,” he mentioned. “If the construction industry thrives, other industries will follow its lead,” Handaya added.

Both exhibitions are expected to welcome 35,000 visitors. The organiser of this event also sets the target for the total transaction to surpass the numbers recorded prior to COVID-19 pandemic, especially considering high and unrealized demands that were delayed due to the pandemic. The opening ceremony of this event will take place on February 23, 2023, and is said to be attended by the Ministry of Industry. (ZH)
