JAKARTA - The fourth week of March ended with a positive net foreign volume of 702,545.900. Foreign investors purchased 3.69 billion shares of stock on Friday, March 24, while selling 2.98 billion shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the greatest net volume this time, with 96.11 million shares, while the purchase volume was 107.93 million. PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), on the other hand, had the highest selling volume, with 53.27 million shares, and a net volume of -32.53 million, which was also the lowest this time.

Foreign investors then purchased shares in two banking issuers, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), in more significant numbers than BUMI, around 223.73 million BBRI and 157.29 million BBCA, respectively. Both reportedly had a high net volume of approximately 90 million shares each. The next choice for foreign investors was PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), another bank issuer. They purchased 91.50 million shares of this company, but the company only reported a net volume of roughly 55 million shares. Furthermore, 77.73 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also purchased, with a net volume of slightly more than 60 million shares.

On the other hand, the second-highest volume of shares sold was the sale of 33.14 million shares of PT Saptausaha Gemilangindah Tbk (SAGE) by its foreign investors. Because of the small amount of foreign purchasing, this new issuer's net volume was down to -30.23 million. Foreign investors also relinquished 41.81 million shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) and 30.7 million shares of its subsidiary, PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR). ADRO's net volume was minus 15 million shares, while ADMR's was nearly double, at around -28 million shares. Finally, foreign investors sold 16.75 million shares of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) while purchasing only 100 thousand shares, resulting in a net volume of -16.65 million shares. (KD)
