JAKARTA. PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII) announced plans to distribute a cash dividend of IDR 588.43 billion from net profit for the 2022 fiscal year.

Esti Nugraheni, Head of Governance of BNII, conveyed the plan in accordance with the resolutions of the company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held last week. At the meeting, shareholders agreed to allocate 40% of net profit in 2022 to be distributed as cash dividends.

According to idnfinancials.com data, BNII posted a net profit of IDR 1.47 trillion in the 2022 fiscal year. After allocating cash dividends, as much as 60% or around IDR 882.64 billion of the company's net profit is determined as retained earnings.

Cash dividends will be given to BNII shareholders, whose names are recorded on the recording date, namely April 13, 2023. Each share will receiveIDR 7.72061. Cash dividend payments will be made on April 28, 2023.

As of 31 December 2022, 45.02% of BNII shares were controlled by Sorak Financial Holdings Pte Ltd. Maybank Offshore Corporate Services (Labuan) Sdn Bhd owns 33.96% of shares, UBS AG London 18.31%, and public investors 2.71%. (KR/LM)
