JAKARTA - PT Budi Delta Swakarya (BDS) will raise its investment in PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA) worth IDR 222.57 billion in a rights issue. This shareholder of TBLA has taken over 370,956,579 shares for IDR 600 each.

Then, in the information disclosure quoted Friday (19/5), Hardy, Corporate Secretary of TBLA, confirmed that BDS’s ownership rises 2.75% from 30.02% or 1.60 billion to 32.77% or 1.97 billion shares after the transaction on April 28, 2023.

TBLA reportedly set the target to raise IDR 452.30 billion during the issuance of 753,835,219 shares in a rights issue. The proceeds from this corporate action will then be spent on purchasing crude palm oil (CPO) as raw materials for approximately 25,000 tons of cooking oil and biodiesel from its suppliers, PT Mulia Sawit Agro Lestari, PT Bumi Indawa Niaga, PT Rezeki Kencana, and PT Bio Inti Agrindo.

Prior to this corporate action, TBLA’s issued and paid-up capital clocked up to IDR 667.76 billion. The shareholders structure consists of PT Sungai Budi (SB) of 28.43%, BDS of 30.29%, Santosa Winata of 0.04%, Widarto of 0.04%, the public of 41.10%, and treasury stock of 0%. The stock in its portfolio is worth IDR 132.23 billion. (LK/ZH)
