JAKARTA. PT Sumber Tani Agung Resources Tbk (STAA), a plantation company headquartered in North Sumatra, announces its plan to distribute cash dividend of IDR 501.56 billion that is taken out of its net profit in 2022.

Juliani Chandra, Corporate Secretary of STAA, claimed that said plan follows the decision made during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of the company last week. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 45% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

The cash dividend will be channelled out to STAA’s shareholders whose names have entered the official list by the recording date on May 31, 2023. Then, the actual disbursement will take place on June 22, 2023, in which each share is entitled to gain cash dividend of IDR 46.

According to IDNFinancials data, STAA scored IDR 1.11 trillion of net profit and retained earnings of IDR 1.75 trillion in the fiscal year 2022. Its total equity clocked up to IDR 4.64 trillion.

As of now, approximately 36.69% of STAA’s shares are under the control of PT Malibu Indah Lestari. PT Kedaton Perkasa claims another 28.88%, followed by Russel Maminta Wijaya of 13.23%, Gani of 6.33%, and public investors of 8.28%. The remaining portion belongs to several members of the boards of directors and commissioners. (KR/ZH)
