JAKARTA – The shareholders of PT Intiland Development Tbk (DILD) officially appoints Sofyan A. Djalil, former Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning as its Vice President Commissioner or Independent Commissioner.

In the information disclosure quoted Friday (26/5), Theresia Rustandi, Corporate Secretary of Intiland Development, confirmed the appointment of Sofyan Djalil to replace Lennard Ho Kian Guan as the previous VP Commissioner.

The naming of Djalil as VP Commissioner, who had taken office as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) during Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s presidential reign, took place during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held yesterday (24/5).

The meeting also names Sinarto Dharmawan as President Commissioner of Intiland, followed by Thio Gwan Po Micky and Friso Palilingan as Independent Commissioners, as well as Jahja Asikin as Commissioner. The board of directors was seen relatively unchanged.

Sofyan Djalil is known as Minister of Communication and Informatics from 2004 to 2007, as well as taking position as commissioners in other companies. Djalil also secures the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts, United States. (LK/ZH)
