JAKARTA - PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia (MNK), a subsidiary of PT Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (OKAS), will transfer 49% of its shares in PT Multi Nasional Kemitraan (MNKT) to PT BME Indonesia (BME). Parties involved in this transaction are not affiliated.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (19/6), Ratno Paskalis Hendrawan, President Director of OKAS, confirmed that MNK will sell off 33,250 units of its shares in MNKT to BME for IDR 215.67 billion or approximately USD 13.71 million, using Bank Indonesia's mid-rate of IDR 15,731 per USD.

On top of the transfer of 49% of MNKT, its operational segment will be directed so that it could be more optimum in providing blasting services, which has been only the supporting segment of the company's business.

The price for the transaction between MKN and BEM is set above the market price. According to the Financial Report as of December 2022, the market price of 49% of MNKT was USD 12.93 million, or approximately IDR 203.42 billion, using the mid-rate of IDR 15,731 per USD.

This plan will be further discussed during the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday (20/6). (LK/ZH)
