JAKARTA – Three pharmaceutical manufacturers plan dividend distributions for the fiscal year 2022 this year. Out of top 12 pharmaceutical companies with highest market capitalisations, three will distribute jumbo dividends.

The data compiled by IDNFinancials today (19/6) records the market capitalisation of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) reaching IDR 95.15 trillion as of May 2023. This issuer distributed dividends on May 31, 2023, of IDR 1.75 trillion.

The allocation was made based on its net profit attributable to the parent entity in December 2022 of IDR 3.82 trillion, retained earnings of IDR 20.18 trillion, and total equity worth IDR 22.09 trillion.

PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) scores market capitalisation of IDR 21.75 trillion. It recorded total dividend of IDR 1.09 trillion for the fiscal year 2022, consisting of interim dividend of IDR 405 billion and cash dividend of IDR 690 billion.

The net profit attributable to the parent company in 2022 clocked up to IDR 1.10 trillion, while its retained earnings and total equity amounted to IDR 1.03 trillion and IDR 3.50 trillion.

Next, PT Tempo Scan Pasific Tbk (TSPC) books market capitalisation of IDR 6.5 trillion as of May 2023. The company channelled out dividend of IDR 450.98 billion, taken out of its net profit attributable to the parent company in 2022 of IDR 1 trillion.
