JAKARTA - DANA Indonesia, a digital wallet platform owned by PT Espay Debit Indonesia Koe, presents its latest collaboration with RIA Money Transfer to offer inbound remittance services for its users in Indonesia.

Based on the presentation by Rangga Wiseno, Chief of Product DANA Indonesia, when met at the DANA x RIA Money Transfer Inbound Remittance Press Conference today (27/6), the presence of this service departs from DANA's desire to support the movement of foreign exchange by facilitating incoming remittances from Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) for their families in the country.

Through this incoming remittance service, PMI can send money through RIA Money Transfer accounts from overseas, including Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong, to be received by domestic families via the DANA application.

"DANA's decision to work with RIA Money Transfer is the right decision, because RIA is one of the 4 largest remittance services in the world," said H. E. Suryo Pratomo, Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore.

According to Pratomo, although this inbound remittance initiative is not the first in Indonesia, he believes that the potential to facilitate PMI is still large, bearing in mind that up to 2022, there are 167,000 PMIs in Singapore who have contributed US$600 million to Indonesia's foreign exchange.
