JAKARTA. PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS), an automotive and its component manufacturer under Salim Group, will arrange a dividend distribution of IDR 39.94 billion or IDR 10 per share.

C. R. Susilowasti, Corporate Secretary of IMAS, said that this plan is in line with the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held last June. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 9% of the net profit in the fiscal year 2022 as cash dividend.

The cash dividend will then be disbursed to IMAS’s shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on July 11, 2023. Meanwhile, the cash dividend payment will take place on August 2, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials, IMAS scored IDR 433.49 billion of net profit in the fiscal year 2022. Then, at the end of December 2022, the company still also held onto retained earnings of IDR 971.93 billion and total equity of IDR 14.17 trillion.

For the record, the dividend per share allocated by IMAS has continuously grown within the past few years. In the fiscal year 2020 and 2021, the company distributed dividend of IDR 4 per share. (KR/ZH)
