JAKARTA - On Monday, July 10, two investors who own more than 5% of the shares in the energy and mining company PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA) decided to release their shares. First, foreign investor Bintang Bara B.V., based in Amsterdam, sold 26.50 million shares of TOBA, reducing its ownership to 7.07%. Additionally, the domestic investor PT Toba Sejahtra sold 9.50 million TOBA shares, reducing this investor's shareholdings to approximately 9.02%.

UOB Kay Hian Private Limited also recently acquired 393.15 million shares of PT Voksel Electric Tbk (VOKS) as its latest big investor. This Singaporean foreign investor now owns 9.46% of the cable manufacturer's stock. Another foreign investor, Barokah Melayu Foods Pte Ltd., purchased 10 million shares of PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (ENAK), or the Champ Group, a food and beverage company. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) extended its right to buy back shares, this time up to 9.61 million shares, while PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara increased its investment in PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) by 7 million shares.

Meanwhile, PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia completed the largest divestment this time, selling 528.20 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). The GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which released 106.04 million shares of technology issuer PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), also opted to sell shares. PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS)'s controlling shareholder, PT Berkah Global Investama, then sold 51.90 million shares of this construction and building materials trading company. Finally, individual investor Lo Kheng Hong sold 4.87 million shares of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL), a tire manufacturer. (KD)
