JAKARTA - PT Indolife Pensiontama (Indolife) scored 45.77% profit surge in H1 2023 compared to the profit seen in the same period in 2022. The profit increase resulted from the decreased costs seen throughout the first six months of this year.

In the Financial Report of H1 2023 quoted Friday (21/7), Indolife scored IDR 6.91 trillion of revenue, IDR 5.61 trillion of which came from the highest contributor, net premium income. Then, investments brought in IDR 1.29 trillion, while the yield of financial institutions’ pension funds services or other management services reached IDR 3 billion.

In the same period, this insurance company that reigns over other competitors in term of its equity posted revenue of IDR 7.03 trillion. Net premium income channelled in IDR 5.73 trillion of revenue, followed by investments of IDR 1.29 trillion, yield of pension funds services/other management services of IDR 2.01 billion, and other income of IDR 2.12 billion.

The expenses were recorded at IDR 6.80 trillion, shrinking from IDR 6.95 trillion in H1 2022.

Its total equity was recorded at IDR 18.81 trillion, slightly improving from IDR 18.75 trillion. The equity components in H1 2023 consist of authorised capital of IDR 122 billion, retained earnings of IDR 2.70 trillion, and other components of IDR 15.98 trillion.

Lastly, the investment adequacy ratio was at 120.04%, while the liquidity ratio was at 196.31%, followed by the ratio between investment results and net premium income of 23.07% and expenses ratio of 121.14%. (LK/ZH)
