JAKARTA. PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama Tbk (JAYA), is sanctioned with an IDR 11.2 billion fine over the alleged violation during the revitalisation project of Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) Phase III.

This sanction conforms to the Case Decision made by Indonesian Competition Committee (lit. Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha/KPPU) No. 17/KPPU-L/2022. In said decision letter, JAYA is charged with a fine over the violation of Article 22 of Act No.5/1999.

“As of now, the company will file a legal objection over this decision to the Commercial Court, in accordance with the applicable law,” Hardjanto A. P., Director of JAYA.

Previously, JAYA and two other companies, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) and PT Jakarta Propertindo, have been declared guilty by KPPU due to the scheme made during the Phase III of TIM revitalisation project.

For the record, TIM revitalisation project is valued at IDR 415 billion. This project was carried out by a consortium consisting PTPP and JAYA throughout August 2021 until September 2022. (KR/ZH)
