JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) kept increasing until the end of July 2023. The total market capitalisation was recorded at IDR 10.60 quadrillion, shifting IDR 607 trillion higher from the market cap in June 2023 of IDR 9.45 quadrillion.

The data of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) compiled today (1/8) shows that JCI was closed at 6,931.359 or increasing 0.45% from 6,900.23 on the previous day. The total traded shares were 21.34 billion, recorded within 1.26 million times worth IDR 13.66 trillion.

From the beginning of this year up to yesterday (31/7), the total traded shares clocked up to approximately 18.34 billion, while the average transaction value reached IDR 10.24 trillion, and the average transaction frequency was 1.18 million times.

The top 10 issuers with jumbo market cap are BBCA of IDR 1.11 quadrillion, BBRI of IDR 848 trillion, BYAN of IDR 662 trillion, BMRI of IDR 529 trillion, TLKM of IDR 369 trillion, ASII of IDR 277 trillion, AMMN of IDR 202 trillion, TPIA of IDR 183 trillion, BBNI of IDR 164 trillion, and UNVR of IDR 147 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top 10 issuers with highest trading volume are GOTO of 5.78 billion shares, MAHA of 1.09 billion, BUMI of 825 million, GTSI of 646 million, INET of 448 million, BIPI of 395 million, ERAA of 339 million, BUKA of 323 million, MPPA of 322 million, and BRMS of 289 million shares. (LK/ZH)
