JAKARTA - After falling sharply on the previous two exchange days, net foreign volume was still in the red on Thursday, August 10. However, it was only -287,440,600 shares this time. Foreign purchases alone totaled 2.53 billion shares, with sales totaling 2.81 billion shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) recorded the lowest net volume of -527.07 million after foreign investors released 1.46 billion shares of this digital ecosystem issuer. The investors, on the other hand, purchased 118.46 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), and this mineral mining company recorded a net volume of 107.75 million shares.

Following GOTO, both the telecom firm PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) and the home improvement retailer PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) reported net volumes of roughly -17 million shares. Foreign investors sold approximately 24.27 million ACES shares and 17.78 million MLPL shares. The net volume of digital company PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) was recorded at -16.08, slightly lower than the other two issuers, with a sales volume of around 26.59 million. Furthermore, private bank PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) reported a net foreign volume of around -15.21 million shares following the release of 16.98 million BBKP shares by foreign investors.

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), BRMS's parent company, actually had a higher volume of foreign purchases than BRMS. Foreign investors expressed interest in more than 130.44 million BUMI shares, but the net volume was only around 90.24 million. Furthermore, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares were purchased for as many as 94.06 million shares, but relatively high foreign sales reduced the net volume to only 36.31 million. Two large banks, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), experienced the same thing. Foreign investors purchased a large number of shares in both companies, totaling 70.18 million BBCA and 60.39 million BMRI, respectively, but their net volume was relatively low, hovering around 25 million shares.
