JAKARTA – The stock of PT Sekar Laut Tbk (SKLT) seized the top gainers title last Friday (11/8), ending the hattrick move of PT Itsec Asia Tbk (CYBR) that had reigned three days in a row since August 8. It rose 25% all the while Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened 0.19% to 6,879.979 last week.

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data quoted Monday (14/8) mentioned that SKLT’s price soared IDR 580 higher, from IDR 2,320 per share to IDR 2,900. The shares were once being traded for its lowest price at IDR 2,600 per share.

Approximately 41,300 shares were being traded within 70 transactions worth IDR 118.80 million. This positive trend then inspired foreign investors to divest their portions, resulting in foreign sell of 1,600 shares and foreign buy of 600 shares.

On the other hand, PT Sumi Indo Kabel Tbk (IKBI) remained at the runner-up sport after scoring 24.44% surge. It was closed at IDR 840 per share, shifting IDR 165 from IDR 675 per share. The shares were once being traded with its lowest price of IDR 640 per share.

The net foreign of IKBI arrived at 200 shares, resulting from foreign sell of 40,000 shares and foreign buy of 40,200 share. The number of traded shares clocked up to 2.96 million shares, recorded within 1,594 transactions worth IDR 2.34 billion. (LK/ZH)
