JAKARTA - On Monday, August 14, the volumes of shares bought and sold by foreign investors were only slightly different because they were both in the range of 2.23 billion shares. To be more specific, foreign investors purchased 2.238.231.000 shares while selling 2.232.688.300 shares, resulting in a foreign net volume surplus of a meager 5,542,700 shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the highest net volume this time, with 295.05 million shares, while PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the lowest net volume, with -273.63 million shares. Foreign investors were seen purchasing 406.40 million BUMI shares and selling 661.01 million GOTO shares.

Furthermore, the net volumes of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were relatively high, in the range of 107–110 million shares. Both companies shares also sold well, with sales totaling 150.08 million BRMS and 136.66 million BUKA. In addition, nearly 25 million shares of the securities firm PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM) were purchased. However, due to the low sales volume, TRIM's net volume was around 24.28 million shares. The digital company PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) then recorded a net volume of 22.83 million shares after foreigners purchased 33.77 million of its shares.

Meanwhile, national bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) reported the second lowest net volume under GOTO, namely -45.47 million shares, followed by broadcast media company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) with -41,38 million. Foreign investors released quite a lot of BBRI shares, namely around 83.67 million shares, but only about half of that figure was for SCMA shares. The last two issuers on the top sell list were PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR). Foreign investors sold 35.61 million shares of BIPI (a gas and oil exploration company) and 37.23 million shares of VKTR (an electric vehicle company), so that the net volume of the two was reported to be in the range of -31 million shares.
