JAKARTA – Two companies from development board crowded the top of gainers’ list last Friday’s (25/8). PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE), recording market cap of IDR 1.02 trillion, and PT Chitose International Tbk (CINT), recording market cap of IDR 197 billion, secured first and second place in the gainers’ list.

Based on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data quoted today (28/8), PEGE’s stock increased 24.52% or IDR 76 from the initial IDR 310 to IDR 386 per share. Said closing price is the highest transaction price for the day, whereas the lowest was recorded at IDR 320 per share.

The net foreign was recorded only at 400 shares as Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slowed down last week. The foreign sell and buy were at 35,300 and 35,700 shares. The total volume of traded shares was recorded at 3.14 million units within 908 transactions worth IDR 1.19 billion.

Meanwhile, CINT’s stock reportedly grew IDR 36 or 19.35% higher throughout last Friday. It was closed, also at its peak, at IDR 222 per share, or shifting IDR 36 from IDR 186 per share seen last Thursday (24/8), which was also its lowest price.

Investors made use of JCI’s decline by collecting the shares, resulting in foreign buy of 4,300 shares and zero foreign sell. The volume of traded shares clocked up to 110,300 units, recorded within 58 transactions worth IDR 22.08 million. (LK/ZH)
