JAKARTA - On Monday, August 28, foreign investors purchased 2.06 billion shares and sold 2.13 billion shares. With stock trades just totaling around 2 billion shares, the net foreign volume this time was only minus 68,195,000 shares. Foreign investors sold 608.87 million shares of the technology company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), with the lowest net volume being -184.36 million. These investors, on the other hand, purchased 155.76 million shares of the mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), with the highest net volume at 102.85 million shares.

Going further in the top sell list, foreigners released 70.11 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), with the net volume of this palm oil producer being around -51.94 million. Then, 38.26 million shares of the national bank, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), were sold by foreigners, for a net volume of -26.39 million. Although foreign sales of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) shares totaled 132.74 million shares, the net volume of this national airline company was only 16.62 million shares. Furthermore, nickel company PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) reported a foreign sales volume of approximately 14.59 million and a net volume of -12.56 million.

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) then trailed its subsidiary, BRMS, with a foreign purchase volume of 180.81 million shares. Unfortunately, BUMI's net volume was limited to 38.52 million shares due to the relatively high sales volume. Then, PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) both reported net volumes of around 31–33 million shares, with foreign spending volumes of 81.40 million CPRO and 67.68 million BUKA, respectively. Foreign investors, last but not least, bought at least 25 million shares of electric vehicle manufacturer PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR), with a net volume closing at 20.23 million. (KD)
