JAKARTA – Market capitalisation of PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC) reportedly soared to IDR 17.47 trillion as of August 2023, multiplying nearly tenfold of IDR 1.9 trillion recorded on June 27, 2023. This jump resulted from the distribution of bonus shares, allowing the number of shares to proliferate to 49.3 billion.

Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (4/9), the number of shares is recorded at 54.28 billion units as of July 2023. PT Tunggal Jaya Investama (TJI) controls 43.91% of them, followed by PT Harimas Tunggal Perkasa (HTP) of 43.85%, the public of 10.63%, and its board of directors, consisting of Haryanto Tjiptodihardjo of 1.14% of the shares, Lindawati of 0.01%, Janto Salim of 0.05%, David Herman Liasdanu of 0%, Sugiarto of 0.07%, Lisan of 0.01%, Wira Yuwana of 0.01%, and Philip Tjipto of 0.25%.

Back in June 2023, the number of shares of IMPC only clocked up to 4.93 billion, with the shareholder structure made up of the same parties, with the same ownership percentage each.

Therefore, although the structure of IMPC’s shareholders remains the same compared to June 2023 in terms of its percentage, the volume of shares has increased 49.33 billion following the distribution of bonus shares on July 6, 2023. Bonus shares were given to shareholders with over 5% ownership percentage. For example, HTP’s portion proliferated from 2.16 billion to 23.79 billion shares and TJII’s increased from 2.16 billion to 23.82 billion shares. Bonus shares were also given to each member of board of directors and commissioners of IMPC.

On July 31, 2023, IMPC recorded market cap of IDR 18.23 trillion, resulting from the closing price of IDR 336 per share and listed shares of 54,268,500,000 units. Back in June 2023, IMPC’s market capitalisation was only IDR 1.9 trillion, following its closing price of IDR 388 per share and listed shares of 4,933,500,000 units. (LK/ZH)
