JAKARTA - Starting the new week in September, net foreign volume was 124,754,400 shares on Monday, September 4. Foreign transactions seemed to be stable, with total shares purchased hovering around 2.26 billion and total shares sold around 2.14 billion. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and its subsidiary, which operates in the mineral mining sector, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), had the highest net volume this time, with 168.46 million BUMI and 166.50 million BRMS, respectively. Foreign investors were seen purchasing shares in both companies in large quantities, as many as 393.30 million BUMI and 247.34 million BRMS.

Following that, two state-owned companies, namely PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), reported net volumes of 57 million GIAA and 43.50 million BBNI, respectively. GIAA's purchase volume was 67.53 million shares, while BBNI's was only around 46.09 million shares. PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares were actually sold in large quantities, totaling 107.95 million, but the e-commerce company's net volume was only around 41.26 million.

Foreign investors, on the other hand, released more than 210 million shares of mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) this time, resulting in a net volume of nearly -160 million shares for DEWA. Following that, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO) had a net volume of -40 million after seeing 170.64 million of its shares sold. Electric vehicle battery manufacturer PT Merdeka Battery Materials (MBMA) and oil and gas exploration company PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) both reported net volumes of 30-33 million shares. Furthermore, the two issuers' foreign sales were approximately 62.20 million MBMA and 55.94 million MEDC. PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) concluded the list with sales of 98.06 million and a net volume of -23.03 million shares. (KD)
