JAKARTA - On Friday, September 1, Prinsep Management Limited kicked off September by purchasing 2.2 billion shares of palm oil producer PT FAP Agri Tbk (FAPA). This investor, which is based in Singapore, previously owned approximately 17.5% of FAPA, but the fantastic purchase increased its ownership to 78.13%. Prinsep Management purchased these shares through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia. Aside from that, PT MNC Sekuritas increased its investment portfolio by 623.81 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG). MNC Land is a subsidiary of the MNC Group, which provides office space rentals. PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) also added 2.5 million RALS shares to its stockpile.

Furthermore, several high-profile stock transactions this time were carried out by individual investors. Eka Murniasih recently purchased 54.78 million shares, or around 5.16% ownership, of PT IDeA Indonesia Akademi Tbk (IDEA), a vocational services company. Haiyanto then purchased 12.74 million shares of PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUIS), an oil and gas company, and Hansen Jap purchased 12.06 million shares of PT Haloni Jane Tbk (HALO), a disposable glove manufacturer. Meanwhile, Joa King Hoa was spotted selling 20 million shares of PT Gaya Abadi Sempurna Tbk (SLIS), an electric bike manufacturer.

PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia also decided to sell 242.76 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), followed by PT Esa Gemilang, which sold 9.23 million shares of coal producer PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL). Not to be outdone, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 32.05 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a digital ecosystem company. (KD)
