JAKARTA - The decline in net foreign volume further into the red zone remained incomplete. The net foreign volume dropped to minus 1.31 billion shares on Wednesday, September 13, as foreign investors sold nearly 3.5 billion shares in total, while only buying about 2.17 billion shares. This time, two issuers had very low net volumes, namely the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), both of which were around -370 million. This was due to foreign selling on GOTO, which totaled 647.37 million shares, as well as FREN, which totaled 470.92 million shares.

Furthermore, foreign investors sold 388.19 million shares of the mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), as well as approximately 255 million shares of its mineral mining subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS). Nonetheless, BUMI's net volume was significantly lower at -106.41 million shares, while BRMS's was only around -41.11 million shares. As many as 197.17 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold by foreign investors, resulting in a negative net volume of 65.05 million shares.

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), in contrast, had the highest net volume this time, despite only having around 20 million shares, after the foreign investors purchased 22.08 million DOID shares. Nearly 19 million shares of PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI), an oil and gas tanker company, were also purchased, with a net volume of around 15.47 million. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), an oil and gas exploration company, actually reported significant foreign purchases, totaling 56.60 million shares. Unfortunately, MEDC's net volume could only be sealed with a 13.23 million surplus. Finally, after foreign investors purchased 18.35 million VKTR shares and 14.53 million PWON shares, electric vehicle manufacturer PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) and real-estate company PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) both recorded net volumes in the range of 10 million shares.
