JAKARTA – The stock of PT Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk (MARI) reportedly shifted 28% higher at the closing bell of yesterday’s (20/9) trading session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). However, this increase is deemed less significant amid the growth of Jakarta Composite Index (JCI).

Quoted from IDX data today (21/9), MARI’s stock was closed at IDR 96 per share, IDR 21 higher from the previous closing price of IDR 75 per share. The highest it went was IDR 100, and the lowest was IDR 75 per share.

Approximately 556 million shares of MARI were being traded in 17,823 transactions worth IDR 50.18 billion. This solid position was followed by foreign buy increase to 30.30 million, whereas foreign sell was recorded at 26.42 million.

Then, PT Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (ALKA) soared 25%, bringing its closing price at its peak of IDR 590 per share. It was IDR 118 higher than IDR 472 per share recorded previously. The lowest transaction price was seen at IDR 472 per share.

The total traded ALKA’s shares reached 179,300 units, recorded within 156 transactions worth IDR 104.76 billion. Although the stock increased, foreign investors remained idle, as indicated through zero foreign buy and sell. (LK/ZH)
