JAKARTA. PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM), through two of its subsidiaries, have acquired the entire shares of PT Infei Metal Industri (IMI).

This corporate action takes place after the purchase of 51% of IMI, previously owned by Central Halmahera Holding Pte. Ltd (CHHP). The entire portion of CHPP has been taken over by HRUM’s subsidiaries, PT Tanito Harum Nickel (THN) and PT Harum Nickel Perkasa (HNP).

The number of CHPP’s shares bought by both subsidiaries of HRUM reaches 799,999 units. Approximately 50.999% of shares are acquired by THN, leaving 0.001% to HNP.

“Total shares acquisition value is USD 70.38 million,” Ray A. Gunara, President Director of HRUM, revealed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

After this acquisition, THN controls 99.999% of IMI’s shares, while HNP gains 0.001% of the shares. CHPP no longer has any portion in IMI.

“This transaction is the company’s effort in consistently driving business diversification through investment in nickel sector,” Gunara mentioned. (KR/ZH)
