JAKARTA - On Wednesday, September 27, PT GoTo Gojek Indonesia (GOTO) shares became the most sold, causing its net foreign volume to plunge. This digital company's shares were sold for 1.42 billion, while only 200.18 million shares were purchased, for a net volume of -1.22 billion shares. This made GOTO the largest contributor to net foreign closing at -1.17 billion shares. Meanwhile, the foreign buying volume was 1.78 billion shares, and the foreign selling volume was 2.95 billion shares.

Shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) came in second, selling 90.96 million shares with a net volume of -43.90 million shares. In addition, shares of the banking firm PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) were sold for 69.75 million shares, with a net volume of -35.43 million shares. The sale of shares in two businesses, each with a net foreign volume of nearly -30 million shares, brought the list of share sales to a close. Starting with media firm PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) shares, which were sold for 44.40 million shares with a net volume of -29.84 million shares, followed by financial services company PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) shares, which were sold for 28.74 million shares with a net volume of -27.99 million shares.

On the other hand, the palm oil company PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) continues to be the most popular among foreign investors. The total number of NSSS shares purchased was 68.17 million, with a net volume of 61.48 million shares. In the mining sector, PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) shares were purchased for 69.21 million shares with a net volume of 46.55 million shares, followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares for 43.30 million shares with a net volume of 33.54 million shares. Furthermore, foreign investors purchased 68.21 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), resulting in a net volume of 41.35 million shares. Finally, with a net foreign volume of 35.22 million, 49.31 million shares of the oil and gas business PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) were purchased. (KD)
