JAKARTA. A total of 4 companies have listed shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) this week, ranging from companies from the energy sector to logistics.

The four companies are PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Lovina Beach Brewery Tbk (STRK), PT Koka Indonesia Tbk (KOKA), and PT Logisticsplus International Tbk (LOPI).

Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad, Corporate Secretary of BEI, said that the number of shares listed as of October 6 2023 had reached 68, with total proceeds of IDR 49.60 trillion. With the addition of these 4 companies, the number of companies that have carried out share listings since the beginning of 2023 has reached 72.

Most of the companies that have carried out share listings come from the consumer cyclicals sector, with a total of 12 companies. Then from the technology sector there were 9 listed companies, 8 consumer non-cyclical companies, 8 industrial companies, and 8 property companies.

"This record achievement is the result of the efforts of IDX together with the Financial Services Authority and SROs (Self-Regulatory Organizations) as well as other supporting professions who always increase capital market inclusion in Indonesian society," said Nurahmad in his official statement.
