JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) has managed to obtain a contract worth IDR 1.4 trillion for a construction of a plant of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) in Palembang, South Sumatra.

These projects will be handled by ADHI under a consortium with Wuhuan Engineering Company (WEC). ADHI will take up 15.1% of the project, while WEC has another 84.9%.

Entus Asnawi Mukhson, President Director of ADHI, said that this plant sets an ammonia production target to 1,350 MTPD and urea production target to 2,750 MTPD. “This factory is expected to meet the demands for domestic subsidised fertilisers, thus allowing Indonesian farmers to feel the ease in production, as well as promoting Indonesian food resilience,” he added in the official disclosure.

ADHI and WEC are tasked with Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) activities. The project will be equipped with the latest technology from KBR, as the ammonia factory licensor, and TOYO, as the urea factory licensor. (KR/ZH)
