JAKARTA - On Monday, October 23, foreign investors purchased up to 2.55 billion shares of the digital corporation PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). These trades contributed significantly to the total number of foreign purchases, which totaled approximately 4.04 billion shares. Meanwhile, the total foreign selling volume was 3.37 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign of 666.10 million.

The next acquisition target on the top buy list was shares of the mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), with 93.17 million shares purchased and a net volume of roughly 66.10 million shares. Aside from that, foreign investors purchased 76.55 million shares in PT Barito Pacific Tbk's (BRPT) petrochemical and energy company, with a net volume of 44.50 million shares. Shares of mining services company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) were also purchased for 29.75 million shares with a net volume of 17.66 million shares, followed by the purchase of 17.63 million shares of property company PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) with a net volume of 11.48 million shares.

The net volume of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) then ranked first on the top-selling list after foreign investors sold 79.24 million shares of this subscription television broadcasting company with a net volume of -72.08 million shares. Furthermore, 56.07 million shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), an oil and gas exploration and production business, were sold, for a net volume of -50.52 million shares. Shares of PT MPX Logistics International Tbk (MPXL), a construction company, were also sold for approximately 37.05 million shares, with a net volume of -27.35 million shares. With net volumes both in the range of -20 million shares, foreign investors sold 28.75 million shares of property company PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) and 66.02 million shares of banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI).
