JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) has signed 2 new contracts for the construction of a Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG) in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara and Tobelo, North Maluku.

The total contract value that ADHI is part of for the two projects is IDR 701.1 billion. Both contracts came from PT PLN (Persero).

In building the PLTMG, ADHI teamed up with a company from South Korea, namely Korea Electric Power Corporation Engineering & Construction Company, Inc. (KEPCO). Together with KEPCO, ADHI formed a consortium with a Joint Operation (KSO) scheme.

ADHI's portion in the JO scheme is 52.8% for the 30 MW PLTMG Tobelo project and the rest is KEPCO's share. Meanwhile, for the 30 MW Sumbawa PLTMG project, ADHI takes 50.1% share and KEPCO 49.9%.

The construction plan for the two projects will begin at the end of 2023.
