JAKARTA. PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH), a mining services issuer, has acquired 74% shares of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) at IDR 307.33 billion.

Ahmad Zaki Natsir, Corporate Secretary of MYOH, said that the TRJA share sale and purchase deed was signed on November 30, 2023. All these shares were purchased by the company from PT Damai Investama Sukses (DIS) and PT MSJ Investama Abadi (MSJ).

"Due to this transaction, the company became the new controller of TRJA," said Natsir.

Natsir added that the acquisition of TRJA shares was carried out in the context of diversifying MYOH services. Indirectly, this step is also believed to strengthen the company's position in the mining services industry.

In the disclosure of information on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI), the number of DIS shares in TRJA acquired by MYOH was 663.46 million shares or worth IDR 182.45 billion. Meanwhile, the number of shares acquired from MSJ was 454.08 million or IDR 124.87 billion.

The acquisition price for TRJA shares agreed upon by MYOH and the two parties selling the shares is IDR 275 per share. This price is slightly higher than the price of TRJA shares at the close of trading on the stock exchange yesterday, namely IDR 264 per share.

Meanwhile, in today's trading, TRJA's share price closed up 6 points or 2.27% to IDR 270 per share. Over the past year, TRJA's share price has moved up 30 points or 12.50%. (KR/LM)
