JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will once again hold an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) tomorrow (12/12) with an indicative target of IDR 19 trillion.

There will be seven series of SUN auctioned off on tomorrow’s session. They consist of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

The yield offered for SUN series is in the form of discounts, while the yield offered for five series of ON ranges from 6.62% to 7.12%.

The auction will be held using Bank Indonesia’s auction system, and it will be an open auction using a multiple price method. All interested parties may submit their bids in the auction through agents of auction authorised by the Ministry of Finance.

According to IDNFinancials record, the Indonesian government had previously held a SUN auction on November 28, 2023. The incoming bids clocked up to IDR 48.71 trillion, while the awarded amount reached IDR 19.15 trillion.

Then, on December 5, 2023, the government had also offered Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk with an indicative target of IDR 19.74 trillion. The awarded amount is IDR 9.14 trillion. (KR/ZH)
