JAKARTA - PT Armada Berjaya Trans Tbk (JAYA) acquires 7 more of its colt diesel double (CDD) box trucks to enhance its service quality for its consumers. Those vehicles are purchased from PT Rahardja Ekalancar, a non-affiliate of the company.

Darmawan Suryadi SM, President Director of JAYA, mentioned that the amount of investment for this new vehicle acquisition reaches IDR 3.09 billion, which is taken out of its capital expenditure (capex). “With these new trucks, the number of CDD box trucks of the company rises to 52 units,” he added in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (20/12).

According to Suryadi, this fleet expansion is a result of the management’s success in efficiency strategies throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the extra trucks are expected to strengthen consumer’s trust in the company.

“The management believes that the strategy that has been implemented since the pandemic has generated positive result for now and the future, thus allowing the revenue to grow better,” Suryadi explained.

Until September 2023, JAYA recorded cash and bank of IDR 8.66 billion, while its total current assets were at IDR 62.67 billion, followed by long-term liabilities of IDR 27.57 billion and total equity of IDR 124.11 billion.

This issuer bagged revenue of IDR 62.87 billion, shifting from IDR 58.94 billion seen in the same period in 2022. Its gross profit also rose from IDR 17.55 billion to DR 23.48 billion, while its current year’s profit doubled from IDR 4.33 billion to IDR 11.46 billion. (LK/ZH)
