JAKARTA – Entering 2024, PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) prepares to reinforce its distribution network through a new distribution centre (DC) and new factory that will be ready to operate in the first quarter in 2024.

According to the explanation of the management of ULTJ during the Annual Public Expose 2023 held via Zoom today (21/12), the latest DC and warehouse of Ultrajaya is established in the MM2100 Industrial Area in Cibitung, West Java.

“This facility has an area of 25,000 m2 and quite extensive capacity, 36.940 palettes, and is equipped with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS),” said the management of ULTJ further.

The construction started in 2021. In addition to DC and warehouse, in the same location, ULTJ will also establish a factory. “This production facility is targeted for operation in Q4 2025 – Q1 2026,” added the management.

According to them, this new facility is said to enhance efficiency in warehouse leasing, as well as accelerating distribution and marketing activities in the future.

It is in line with the company’s strategy to optimise its distribution network and drive production capacity forward, thus enabling ULTJ to expand its market in the long run. (ZH)
