JAKARTA - Foreign investors bought the biggest shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) on Thursday, December 21. A total of 665.77 million GOTO shares were purchased, for a net volume of 357.20 million shares. This added to the total volume of foreign purchases of 2.26 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume was 1.90 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign of 357.20 million shares.

In addition, 85.87 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) in the banking sector were purchased, followed by 25.66 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) in the e-commerce sector. Then, for roughly 42 million shares, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) in the renewable energy sector and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) in the telecommunications sector were both purchased, with each having a net volume of around 20 million shares.

Meanwhile, the largest share sale was made to the mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), namely around 111.53 million shares, with a net volume of -76.42 million shares. Almost 50 million shares of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), a paint and building materials company, were also sold, for a net volume of -33.97 million shares. The next shares sold were those of metals and mining business PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), with a sales volume of 38.60 million shares and a net volume of -23.77 million shares. Finally, the sale of 39.01 million shares of banking company PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) and 18.05 million shares of health service provider PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA) both resulted in a net volume of around -11 million shares, respectively.
