JAKARTA. Total incoming bids submitted during the auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) yesterday (16/1) were reported at IDR 67.56 trillion.

There were 7 series of SUN offered by the Indonesian government in this round of auction. They consist of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

SPN12250116 recorded the highest amount of bids for SPN category, scoring incoming bids of IDR 10.47 trillion. Meanwhile, FR0101 was the champion in ON category, scoring incoming bids of IDR 23.59 trillion.

Out of those incoming bids, the awarded amount from those 7 series of SUN only reached IDR 24 trillion. It is in accordance with the indicative target set and announced prior.

For the record, said auction was held in order to meet some of the financing target set in the 2024 State Budget.

According to IDNFinancials record, the government had also held two other SUN auctions since the beginning of 2024. In the first round, held on January 3, 2024, the government had won IR 21.75 trillion out of total incoming bids. (KR/ZH)
