JAKARTA - PT Esta Utama Corpora (EUC) has increased its stock portion by investing IDR 2.58 billion in  PT Esta Multi Usaha Tbk (ESTA). EUC, the controlling shareholder of ESTA, used to claim 72.25% of ESTA prior to the transaction that took place yesterday (16/1).

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (18/1), Andaru Surya Gautama, Director of ESTA, mentioned that EUC’s portion rises to 73.64% or 1.78 billion shares from the initial 72.25% or 1.75 billion shares. The number of acquired shares reaches 33.56 million, bought for IDR 77 each.

The acquisition price is at the same level of yesterday’s (16/1) closing price. It managed to peak at IDR 78 per share, while the lowest was recorded at IDR 75 per share. The volume of traded shares is 15.50 million, recorded within 1,072 transactions worth IDR 1.19 billion.

Prior to this, EUC also raised its portion in ESTA, through two separate transactions, by 6.95% of total listed shares. Before such transactions, EUC only owned 1.58 billion shares or 65.31% of total shares. It now grows to 1.75 billion or 72.25% of 2.42 billion listed shares.

As of December 2023, 65.31% of ESTA’s shares were claimed by controlling parties, while non-controllers had another 34.69%. The shareholder structure consists of EUC of 65.31%, Esta Dana of 3.33%, Yeti Sopandi of 12.51%, and public investors of 18.83%. (LK/ZH)
