JAKARTA. The total incoming bids recorded in the auction of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk today (23/1) reach IDR 23.76 trillion.

There were 7 series offered in this round of auction. They consist of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 series of Project Based Sukuk (PBS).

In today’s auction, SPNS07102024 raised the highest bids of IDR 5.5 trillion. On the contrary, the least amount of bids was recorded by PBS038 with IDR 1.3 trillion.

Out of those incoming bids, the total amount obtained by the government is IDR 12 trillion. It matches exactly the indicative target set prior.

Before this auction, the Indonesian government had claimed that this auction took place in order to meet some of the financing target set in the 2024 State Budget. (KR/ZH)
