JAKARTA - Foreign investors purchased 153.82 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), which operates in the local and international shipping sectors, on Thursday, January 25, for a net volume of 81.73 million shares. This share transaction also contributed to the net foreign volume surplus of 90.43 million shares. The recorded foreign buying volume was 2.14 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 2.05 billion shares.

Additionally, foreign investors purchased considerable shares in the coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), totaling 114.45 million shares and a net volume of 87.48 million. 47.68 million shares of BUMI's subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), in the mineral mining industry were also purchased, for a net volume of around 32.61 million shares. Then, 97.62 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were purchased for a net volume of 64.48 million shares, followed by 72.54 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) for nearly 60 million shares in net volume.

Meanwhile, foreign investors sold 555.66 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), making it the stock with the lowest net volume on the top sell list at -216.80. In the marine and maritime services industry, 167.38 million shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) were sold, with a net volume of -123.65 million shares. With no share purchases recorded, the integrated shrimp cultivation firm PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) had a sales volume of 30.19 million shares and a negative net volume of the same number. Furthermore, 101.80 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were sold, for a net volume of -20.05 million shares. Finally, shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), a telecommunications infrastructure provider, were sold for 23.01 million shares, for a net volume of -15.39 million shares. (KD)
