JAKARTA - PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) booked an increase in its sales volume of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO) of 4% and 1.2% each throughout 2023.

Andrianto Oetomo, President Director of Dharma Satya Nusantara, mentioned that CPO and PKO’s sales volume was recorded at 665 thousand and 49 thousand tons. “The average selling price (ASP) of CPO in 2023 was IDR 11.39 million per ton, 1.9% higher. However, the ASP of PKO was IDR 12.97 million per ton, declining from last year,” he said.

On the other hand, its CPO production reported an increase, as well, of 3.5%, due to production growth of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of 2.5% and oil extraction rate (OER) of 1.9% to 23.19% year-on-year (yoy).

The yearly FFB production increase has driven the productivity of palm kernel (PK) and PKO of 4.3% yoy and 6.3% yoy each. In 2023, the issuer recorded free fatty acid (FFA) level of 2.96%, categorised as premium level.

In the meantime, DSNG’s timber segment has yet to show improvement throughout 2023. Panel and flowing sales declined 14% yoy and 33.9% yoy, respectively. The ASP of panel dropped 17.5% yoy, while flooring’s price hiked 1.3% yoy higher. (LK/ZH)
